How it works:

Toxic Gases caused by decaying matter and fish waste can become trapped under the ice during the winter.  Tetra Pond's De-icer keeps a small area of the pond ice-free, allowing harmful gases to escape through the opening.  This helps your fish survive through the winter months.

Effective to -20 degrees F or -28 degrees C

Energy efficient:  Thermostatically controlled 300 watts.  Saves electricity by shutting off power when not needed.
